Recommended Stud Application & Quantity per Boot/Tire
*One stud per every 6 square inches of tire surface. Calculate the quantity needed per tire by multiplying the tire height (in inches) by the tire width by 3.14, and then divide by 6. Example: If the tire height is 30in, and its width is 10in, calculate as follows: (30 x 10 x 3.14) divided by 6 = 157. This tire needs approximately 150 studs.
