Helpful Tips
When installing Grip Studs® with the Grip Studs® driver tool, ensure the prongs on your tool are firmly seated in the notches in the studs. If the tool is not seated all the way in the stud, torque pressure can cause the installation tool to break. Grip Studs® tools are not designed to be used with impact drivers.

Skid Loader Studs

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

We installed them onto our track skid loader and had great results. We have a snow blower attachment mounted for the winter and the studs gave us great grip anywhere. Without them we were not able to climb much of an incline without slipping. They also stayed put in the tracks all winter. We are very happy with them.

Skid Steer Studs

These things rock! They are amazing! We went places all winter with two skid steers that we never could have thought of going before we studded the tracks. I think most of the studs made it through the winter and certainly helped on the rocks that we were pipelining across as well. I looked for some pics for you guys, but most of them only have the heavy iron in them, not the skid steers. Extremely glad we discovered your product.

40HP Kioti 4WD Tractor

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

It's more difficult to take pictures while driving a tractor than I thought, but I have a couple for you. I am still happy with the studs and have recommended them to a couple of people now. In the first pic, I am traveling up my driveway with the snow-blower in float position. You can not tell in the picture, but there is a layer of ice under the 6 inch deep snow. I made it up around the curve. Last year, I had front chains on and could not get up even with the snow blower lifted off the ground. My tractor is a 40HP Kioti 4WD.

Caterpillar 906 Loader

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

We ran these studs in our Caterpillar 906 loader year round for 3 years and they still look great. They are way better than chains and a whole lot less work and noise to deal with by using Grip Studs. They do not impact the road surface, we use the small loaders to sweep parking lots in the spring and we never remove the studs.

I tried your 1900T studs in my Kubota Track Loader because I use it on a 20% grade with snow and ice. Your product is a life saver!

Volvo Loader

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

We could not use chains on our Volvo loader because there was not enough clearance, which made it unusable in the winter, so four years ago we tried a set of 1900T Grip Studs. They worked great, so we were able to use our loader year round. We lost a couple of the studs since then, but the rest are still going strong after four years. Now I am going to get some for my truck.

Tractor Studs

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

I am absolutely satisfied with the product. I have installed the model 1910T on my John Deere tractor (may need a few more) and they get the job done by helping me get up a driveway slope during compact snow/icy conditions. Chains on the rear tires just did not do it for me. As a matter of fact, I was just grading my driveway and my neighbor noticed them on my tractor tires and was interested. Gave him the link to your website so he may look into get a few himself.

Amazing product, would recommend to anybody. I had to search online and call a few companies who were not able to help me until I found Grip Studs. Easy installation, works very well, did exactly everything they advertised it would do. I can not talk it up enough.

10,000 Pound Skid Steer

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

I put the grip studs on the worn out tracks of my 10,000 pound skid steer. I was having trouble getting up and down driveways while snow plowing. The studs really increased the grip strength of the tracks! I broke one of the tracks this spring due to a loose tensioner wheel so I have not had studs on the new tracks yet. I have some other tires that the grip studs will work on that I may try out this winter.

4wd Kubota B2650

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

I hate chains because they're finicky to install and they ride rough. I thought honestly I was settling for a compromise when I decided to go with studs, expecting lower performance. Your studs are not just good. They are unbelievably good! Now I am spreading the news on how great these studs are. I have a 4wd Kubota B2650 with a snow blower and pretty steep driveway. We have already experienced a fair amount of snow and real winter weather here and I'm amazed at how your studs are performing. Absolutely no spinning, I can actually blow uphill without any loss of traction. This is beyond any of my expectations. Totally worth it.

Ease of Installation

I just wanted to tell you that I just installed almost 600 grip studs into my front and rear R4 tires on my 2015 John Deere. The installation was easy and they are holding perfectly. I live on a mountain in Montana with a very steep driveway approx. a half mile long and it gets icy very often, so icy i slid backwards on the tractor a few times, but that was prior to installing Gripstuds. I have to say I can now plow this drive without feeling so stressed, that alone was worth the price i paid for these. Needless to say these studs are staying in year around, thanks for making an awesome product.

We have used Grip Studs before and they really hold up great. We put them in some heavily siped tires, and they stayed in just fine. Now we are going to try some of the new 1910s.

Skid Steer Studs

Overall Satisfaction

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

I installed grip studs on my tracked skid steer for winter snow and ice work. They worked great! I had planned to remove them for summer work but they help so much with traction on hard packed clay and dirt I decided to leave them in. Of course, you will want to make sure to put down some plywood before driving these on your shop floor. There was a problem with my original order but the Grip Stud people handled it with promptness and courtesy.
