Grip Studs Screw-In Tire Studs | Traction in Ice, Snow and Dirt | 1000 Tire Stud

Helpful Tips
When installing Grip Studs® with the Grip Studs® driver tool, ensure the prongs on your tool are firmly seated in the notches in the studs. If the tool is not seated all the way in the stud, torque pressure can cause the installation tool to break. Grip Studs® tools are not designed to be used with impact drivers.

New York Islanders Review

Stud Performance

Ease of Installation

I am the lead ice technician for the New York Islanders. While searching for pricing on new tires for our resurface machine I came across your site. The 3 sets of tires would cost upwards of $3,000 and that was way too much considering studs were popping out after 300 hour of use. I took a chance on your product and boy, they are awesome. We were able to just replace studs as per your detailed and simple instructions included. I have been recommended them to everybody now.

Had a couple of sets of these delivered to Melbourne, Australia during the week. Got them straight onto our 545 Zamboni and we were away. Great little product!

Thank you for the extra free installation bit. I have ordered once before, was impressed, and kept the installation tool. Having a spare is excellent. Thank you!

Fast shipping and wonderful product. The #1400 Grip Studs went on a Zamboni and performed better than original studs that came in the tires. I would recommend these studs to any rink that needs to replace worn tire studs. Customer service was really helpful also. Ordering more ASAP!

We put 50 Model #1200 Grip Studs in each tire of our Olympia Ice Rink Cleaner last February, and they worked great. We have only lost one stud since. Great product! We will buy more!

We bought some grip studs a couple years ago and they are fantastic! We drive on asphalt everyday due to we don't have a dump pit and have to dump the snow in a designated spot in our back parking lot and your studs held up superbly on our former Zamboni. I was thinking about re-studding again for our new Zamboni!

Ease of Installation

I just finished season 2 on my first set of Grip Studs installed in existing tires...Two full seasons with plenty of outside driving on asphalt. I have not inspected every tire 360 degrees around, but I do not see even 1 stud that has come loose. All those empty holes are where the original studs were. If I ever buy new tires, I will buy the same tire without studs and do it myself - and probably take these out and re-use them!

We bought new tires last year for 2 machines, ordered 800 studs, did them ourselves, then they were mounted and still perform like new. Thank goodness for Grip Studs!

Zamboni Studs

Ease of Installation

I've been a fan ever since the first year we tried them about 5 years ago. They work great for us. Saves lots of money over buying a new set of studded tires and they're easy to install. I pulled these 5 year old Grip Studs (picture) from the left front tire to compare with an unused one. They don't see much concrete but these have a couple of thousand hours on them. We have a fairly young staff that drives rather aggressively. They managed to get a few to lean over a bit. Instead of replacing them I just backed them out and moved them over a half inch and reinstalled them as they really weren't dull and none were missing.

We like the #1400s! I just ordered a bunch and I will share this product with some of the other rinks I communicate with. I can see a lot of rinks purchasing this product if they knew about it.
